I haven’t. My French toast isn’t your typical preparation, but I’ll look at the brioche today to see if it’s suitable.

I know I’ve had french toast at Square One and enjoyed it, but I couldn’t remember if they also do a corn flake crust (like Marston’s, which I also really enjoyed). I Googled it, and apparently the LA Times published the recipe back in 2008.

My current favorite pancakes are the Ricotta Pancakes at brunch from Delicious Pizza! Crisp edge, tender interior, even without the dusting of powdered sugar, they are good enough to eat without the maple syrup. Suprisingly great bruch for a really good price
