Paper straw!

We stopped for lunch yesterday at a local pizza place and my iced tea was served with a paper straw. I praised them to the roof tops

Also in the UK; the airing on the BBC, earlier this year (or late last year?) of the second “Blue Planet” series, narrated by David Attenborough, focused strongly on plastics in the ocean environment.

I all against plastic in the ocean BUT the thought of drinking out of a straw that someone washed (probably poorly) is gross.

I use metal straws at home. Good for the environment but terrible utility. The metal get very cold, does not bend and have you ever tried chewing on metal?
