Drove by this place on Arroyo Parkway last weekend; only two Yelp reviews (plus one that’s not recommended). Seems to be a store selling only Pu-erh tea and tea accessories - first store for the company in the US. According to the reviews, they also offer tastings.
I am puzzled by the company’s decision to open in Pasadena, especially along that stretch; would think other areas of the SGV might provide better visibility and traffic.
I’ll try to stop in, as I’m curious about the teas, though I’ve no experience with them.
I wonder if part of it is is changing demographics in that area? Maybe the mainlanders moving to the area want to shop at places in more upscale areas?
