Girls night out for my birthday…staying very close in the neighborhood, we went to Avanti on Sierra Madre…and I was truly surprised at the ambiance, service, and the quality of the food having been at their pizza place on Lake St., but ya know…YES, the seafood pasta in a bell pepper sauce was really pretty darn good. I was not expecting anything worth talking about, but along with a bottle of cheap wine…weeelll, yep, it’s not Valentino’s, not even Celestino’s, but will look forward to leftovers tomorrow…and I’d go back.

true, no question there …tho’ a limited menu at Bulgarini…two different dining experiences imo.
