Gonna miss PRD, that’s for sure. Met some really nice people there. Lots of FTCer sighting in the wild when eating at PRD.
Grateful I was able to grab a meal on my recent trip. It was a day where I wasn’t sure if I was going to be in Chinatown but eating delicious Hainan chicken was too enticing.
Just this weekend my mom asked for PRD’s location. She mentioned craving Hainan chicken and I told her a fantastic version was right in her old stomping grounds. Bummed she may miss out.
Will rely on ftc for the 411 on chef Lee’s next venture.

Got there around 11, line was already quite long. they were sold out by 1 and it sounds like i got one of the last plates. chicken was delicious and they are finally doing 1/2 1/2 hainan and fried hainan plates. (eavesdropped and heard they might restrict takeout orders for tmrw…)
Wishing the team the best and hope to see them around in some new, sustainable for everyone (but hopefully affordable enough so that i can partake on a semi-regular basis) , iteration, phoenix-style richard (?) (the guy who used to be at baker’s bench) said see you soon so hopefully something in the future ???

3x charsiu rice - glazed bbq pork, garlic rice, gailan
chinese no-chicken salad - cabbage slaw, cucumber, onion wonton chips, msg almonds
2 gailan w/ garlic soy - blanched chinese broccoli, fried garlic/shallot soy sauce
