Question on storing casings

Ordered some natural hog casings online. They come packed in salt. The instructions with the packet said they are fine to be at room temperature during transport but then to store them in a dry temperature controlled environment between 5-10 degrees Celsius…. Now I didn’t read the packet as soon as they arrived so they were kept at room temperature in my house for about 5 days before I put them in my fridge which is about 3 degrees. Obviously I don’t have a controlled environment between 5-10 degrees, my fridge needs to be below 4 to prevent food spoiling and I don’t have an alternative. Will they be ok considering I kept them at room temperature for days after receiving them and is a fridge environment (3 degrees) ok for continued storage? Thanks!
