Each store is owned by a separate corporation. Different restaurants using the Sam Woo name are owned by different family members. Only the ones owned by Gary Cheung are implicated in this action.

The LA Eater story links all the charges where the corporations involved are listed by name. One of the corporations had the name Rowland in it, so perhaps it was the Rowland Heights location (which mysteriously changed names a few years ago). Perhaps you can take the corporate names a do a search.
Thinking about going here for fried rice. How is it?
It’s good. Most SGV Cantonese restaurants do fried rice well. My favorite is the egg white dried scallop fried rice at A-Me Kitchen in Alhambra.

I got the rice and a kung pao chicken from sam woo. Pretty good.
