I stopped by the new Torrance location today and I can happily report, it is excellent like the original Costa Mesa location.
I got one Otium Smoked French Toast and two Butter and Salt cuz they were out of Huckleberry and couldn’t wait 20 minutes for the new batch.
I downed the Otium Smoked French Toast and it was really good. They should serve this at Otium, lol cuz… Lovely spice mixture in the cake doughnut and a nice tang from the jam, rounding out with a very apparent smokey bacon flavor. The micro Swiss chard provides a full serving of veggies for the day.
Torrance is steadily becoming my favorite food area, and quite dangerous with so many great food options. I mean, you can dessert bang^4 with Sidecar x Patisserie Chantilly x Kansha x King’s Hawaiian and get Kagura, Wadatsumi, Ikkousha, Torimatsu, etc, etc…within a 10 minute drive.

Can confirm tasty however the haupia malasada was more up my alley.
