Also picked up futomaki yesterday. They said I was the first person to order through Tock. Lol they were like how did you find the Tock link, we weren’t even certain it was up yet

Hot damn, delicious. All those textures played so well together, especially when the bite of shrimp came. And perfect for the heat.

When I work in downtown I’m a five minute walk away so am planning on this being a regular stop.

Also if on foot, Sushi Kaneyoshi can be accessed by entering the Kajima Building doors on 1st. Still middle elevator, without needing to check in at security.

Another standout meal from yoshi-san and his team. The beautiful sushi bar is coming along nicely and should be open in about a month (sneak peak below). Stay tuned for takeout nigiri hopefully starting next week @NYCtoLA, @foodshutterbug, @attran99, @J_L, @Bagel.

I used @butteredwaffles alternate entrance through the kajima building on 1st, thanks for the tip @butteredwaffles. If you do use that entrance, be sure to exit before they lock the doors or else you’ll have to take the elevator back up to the second floor, exit through the parking garage, and take the stairs down to san pedro st. Don’t ask me how I know.

Bruh…that looks insanely delicious

I normally eat pretty fast, thanks to watching Dragonball as a kid but that chirashi/futomaki lunch combo right there I would savor it nice and slow with a @beefnoguy beverage recommendation!!!

I ordered a couple of Chirashi + jewel boxes for my friends and I a couple weeks ago. The shari tasted really plain. There’d be a couple of bites that had nice flavor but mostly tasted like plain white rice. Thought it was kind of weird.

Lol did it seem like the doors lock automatically after a certain time? Maybe on weekends.

I only discovered that entrance because when I left the first time I pushed floor 1 instead of 2 and was super confused stepping out into the lobby.

i think a guard goes around and locks the doors at 4pm on weekends.
