Taco Game is Heating Up - LA Birria on W. Adams

What do you do with that fish sauce?

I was going to go for tacos today. You think they’ll be there in the rain?

Looks and sounds great but too bad it’s not goat.

Holyyyyyyy that issa big bottle.

ALOT of things.

Part of a dipping sauce, marinade, soups, stocks, stews, stir frys. You don’t need a lot.

Agree. I’ve livened up a few soups/stews with a couple of tablespoons of fish sauce. And not Asian type dishes.

Birria made with beef is also authentic. Both good. I guess it’s much harder to source that much goat around here

Us city folks don’t gave costcos

You don’t have Costco in LA? Well, that’s a bummer.

We have plenty, just not in the middle where we live. Not driving 20 miles for fish sauce I can get at surfas

We used to live over 50 miles from a Costco so the trip was a regular event. Not just for a single item though. And when I really can’t find something, Amazon is my friend.

20 miles?? Bro it’s 8 miles to the Costco in Los Feliz from where you live

I don’t have an account

It’s okay. You’re not alone. I’ve never Costco-ed. I’ve survived all this time shopping at mom and pop shops.

Still, sometimes these boards almost convince me to get a membership.
