Solid neighborhood place, everything was good except for the prosciutto.

prosciutto - 18-month riserva, tenerelli orchard peaches, arugula, straciatella
This was miss, the prosciutto was stringy, chewy and the peaches were mealy and not sweet. Shouldn’t have ordered peaches out of season.

capellini - long thin pasta, 36-hour tomato, basil, reggiano

cappelletti - lobster, corn, lobster broth
Nice and corny, was hoping for more lobster flavor.

scarpinocc - stuffed pasta, braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, saba

meyer lemon pie

no toto


Love the thin crispy crust, really reminds me tacconneli’s in philly.

Wow, you ate a lot of delicious looking round food today.

That meat at Spago looks beautiful, so perfectly cooked (and not round). I love that place.

there i am on the right dancing cha cha about 4-5 years ago. i still get residuals from that. kraft food services rock (the obligatory food content) although we had to wait until the regulars ate first even though i was cast as a principal.


Is that considered food porn?

[/quote]Yep, I remember that well. My sister is a retired A.D. My cousins and I did a lot of background work on her movies. Craft services was heaven for broke 20-somethings. But they definitely let you know where you rank compared to the stars.

Baohaus the new import from NY in LA’s Chinatown

They’re from eddie huang’s baohaus in the former pok pok phat thai location at the far east plaza.

It’s still snaking past chego, time from end of line to placing order - 1 hour 10 minutes. The last time i waited about 1.5 hours from the same spot so they seem to be getting faster.
