The menu reads like hers to me, she named it after her grandmother, unlike most hotel restaurants it’s open only for dinner and only five days a week, and it has its own web site.
I’d meant to stay at the Roosevelt someday because I loved the Library Bar, but I guess it was lost in the remodel?
And like that, The Barish is gone. Looks like Silverton’s name will no longer be attached. New team and chef for a brasserie concept.
Other helping with the menu I never got the impression that she considered it “her baby.”
N.B.: This is based 100% on nothing (but reading about it).
