Bicycling today past some houses, I smelled a fabulous, almost Indian fragrance wafting from a non-specific location. Not quite Indian, but also not tomato based. We do a lot of braised chicken dishes in our house: arrroz con pollo, papriaksh, coq au vin, Mediterranean, country captain, cacciatore, curry, but this smelled like something completely different.
