Just had some URBN pizza at Pure Balboa Park. The pizza was legit. Basically as you described. Fantastic bright sauce. Nice amount of parm and fresh mozz. The crust had great char. A little crisper and crunchier than most but very tasty. Wouldn’t have minded some ranch or something to dip the crust in.
An excellent pizza. As good as any food you could hope for at a brewery.
Glad to hear you liked URBN Pizza…I was at the DelMar outpost…ask them for a little olive oil for the crust dipping! What do you mean about a brewery?
They were serving pizza at Pure Project brewery. New California law during covid requires customers to buy food in order to drink beers. Best food I’ve had at any brewery.
I just noticed this thread was started after finding URBN at Sunday Smorgasbord…
this foto is from my visit to URBN Del Mar…2 weeks ago…it was excellent …absolutely delicious fennel sausage in chunks(the only way it should be served), and a little gorgonzola in addition to the mootz…kind of a New Haven taken on the shape and bar style in the slicing…an excellent experience!
