What are the hidden gems in SF?

The ‘one dish’ I order at lunch at Tropisueno is the chile relleno. Simple and satisfies.

El Metate has a chicken milanesa torta for $8.50 with small bowl of chicken tortilla soup.
2406 Bryant Street at 22nd Street. SF.

I rarely ever see Le P’tit Laurent (Glen Park) mentioned on any of the boards. It’s really charming (not in a cheesy way), farmhouse French, with great food, great atmosphere, neighborhoody corner restaurant, dark, cognac snifters perched on a glass of hot water. One of my very favorite places.

Me too. Their yearly Tax Season Menu makes it extra attractive.
