Y'all famous. LAT piece on CH vs. FTC is out

jetmange, the author of the times article left out some major fucking issues.

if it’s cool, definitely inquire with your AP writer friend.

that would be great.

yeah, and it was almost hinting with Leff’s quote that he might like the direction of the changes ???

if i’m reading between the lines.

but i’m probably wrong on that notes.

something about changing over the course of two decades.

I was very surprised too.

maybe I read it wrong though.

Will quote for food.

i’ll provide some quotes too.
Of course.

Instead of Food Talk Central, perhaps the name should be “Olive Garden Set”

I’m glad we got some publicity, and if nothing else, we got jwsel back (glad you found us!).

Hopefully more LA Hounds can find us.

Yah, Leff’s comments come across as rather dismissive, oh well.

I’m glad to have a great discussion board with all of you fellow LA FTC’ers.

Broward County Florida
[/quote]is the Jewish deli really dead in FLL? I’m due for another visit later this year…

I know exactly whose sentiment it was, and my intention was to highlight that, not shoot the messenger.

His statement in this article–and I absolutely believe he was quoted correctly and in context, given his posts on CH recently–is the most preposterous rationalization I’ve ever seen for a shitty user interface. “Make it really unpleasant and confusing to use, so only a handful of people want to bother” is not a great design principle.

maybe someone should write a fucking OPed in the Times, it might be something that I’d actually enjoying reading.

and then we’d be speaking for ourselves.

rather than sending a makeshift messenger, er rather the times food writer.

Stop muttering amongst yourselves and comment on the article. Only two people have so far.
