Pico Blvd - Best of

Did you get a chance to try the pastrami? Years ago, it was very good. Not Langer’s good, but still worth ordering.

Bulavinaka, In LA, if it aint Langers or Brents, I aint eatin’ pastrami…and after the sausage let down, (the place seemed kinda dirty too) i won’t be back!

But pizza is such a handy-dandy way to eat salad without a fork.

WI Jammin does a really good job with Curry Goat.

Curious - I see the bottle of Grace Pepper Sauce. Does this place make their own pepper sauce as well?

bro, i just eat

(no clue, sorry)

The bottled stuff is fine for what it is, but most families in the Caribbean seem to have their recipes for pepper sauce. Oh well…

I did see some sauce canisters with a reddish brown liquid. Should have inquired.

love the King Taco on Pico. we go there often to take out, service is really friendly and the tacos are just great quality. still think of what Jonathan Gold was joking about when he said that having the truck outside is key to its appeal… anyways, love the suadero, carnitas and al pastor tacos there, and the bean/cheese burrito w/o meat (good with the salsa on the side so that you can dip as needed for spicy kick). the red salsa was on fire last night, perfect balance of smoke and vinegary salt and heat…

I like King Taco fine, but that salsa roja is a knockout. It’s a perfect salsa!

No, carnitas sopes all day

Their verde is probably my favorite salsa in Los Angeles.

Is too HOT!

The pain is worth it though. :fire::fire::fire:
