Just got back from a Epic week in St. Simon’s island…
The food in this part of the country is beyond outstanding.

Pimento cheese grits served with diver scallops with watercress pecans, toasted in a vinaigrette at Palmer’s Village Cafe…sublime.
Palmer’s is one of the best places ever for incredible food and that the Chef, JB, is a renowed chef and gave it up to open his own place…this is a must stop to eat!!!

A low country boil on Sea Island 's, Rainbow Island… Shrimp and grits with that delicious crab, shrimp, corn, sausage et all…yum!!
The resort will set up a music, bar, buffet of grits bar, low boil crab pots, pot salad, biscuits, beans…this is an unbelievable venue right on the marsh land.

River Bar at the Cloister’s resort restaurant for lunch was lovely with a simple egg salad sandwich with side salad…DH, had the Braised Beef & Swiss sandwich and said it was one of the best sandwiches, he’s ever eaten!

Can’t wait to go back!!
