A good/easy pizza dough recipe

I am looking for a pizza dough recipe that is simple (no sourdough or poolish etc).

Basically something I can make the night before using commerical yeast and let it proof on the counter or in the fridge and cook pizza with in my ooni the next day. I do not have a stand mixer or anything like that just a very high powered blender. Hopefully getting like a decently puffy crust etc.

Please let me know if any of you have something that is simple and straightforward. Thanks!

Jim Lahey’s from “My Pizza” is simple and is easy to work with

Depending on the size of your Ooni, burnt crust can be an issue.

I’ve started using this recipe, though I hand knead and ferment longer than you may be willing.

My wife makes this one all the time. You can leave the dough in the fridge for a few days or freeze it.

How long do you need and ferment for?

I usually do more than 24 hours but sometimes if I don’t plan ahead I just do 24h cold ferment (aka in the fridge). I have the Koda (12 inch) so making sure the crust doesn’t catch fire or burn is something to manage.

Kneading I’m kinda lazy. Like 5 ish minutes, probably a little less.

A friend wants me to learn how to make pizza dough without yeast. Is this doable?
I don’t know how to make it with yeast yet. :laughing:

Like Sourdough or like a cracker base? You could just buy puff pastry and use that as a base. It’s common with Pissaldiere (even though the original is a yeast based dough)

Sourdough contains yeast.

I’ve had flatbreads made with pie pastry. Can be good but it’s not exactly pizza.

You could use baking soda.

I haven’t tried non yeast pizza doughs but the RecipeTin page tends to be quite good in general with their recipe and so it might be worth trying this one;

I’m just going to use yeast.
