Something nice, decent bubbles served. The last high tea I had in SF was probably 25+ years ago at Neiman Marcus.

Unfortunately, it will be a weekday and it looks like NM may be the only option.
We ended up at NM. The savo(u)ries were so so, the sweets were mostly very good, the tea was good, the service was very nice. It was a pleasant hour-plus on a Monday afternoon.
