If people would eat there more they wouldn’t consider shuttering it - what are those people at change.org expecting ?
I don’t think it was a case of not enough people eating there. The property changed ownership and the new owners raised the rent. I’ve heard they tripled the rent, but that’s an unconfirmed rumor. The owners of Albie’s are not, and have never been, the property owners, they just least space on the property.
If my rent (or house payment) tripled I’d be looking to fold my tent and go away too…
