Now THAT a much more appealing filling to bread ratio than what we’ve seen from other places!

Oh great! I was just saying I miss my Antico Ice Cream!
Been waiting for comments on the chocolate hazelnut and the new nectarine… nobody? Anybody?
Nectarine is superb. Big pieces of fruit mixed in, and none of that salty finish which plagued some of Antico’s other flavors earlier. Get it.
chocolate hazelnut is decadent rich wonderful. Some chunks of hazelnut are bigger than I’d prefer but the crunch is really nice.
Thank you ever so much for the push as well as the prompt reply (as I was in the area debating)!
You must have read my mind
Hahah I must’ve read your comment & subconsciously thought of it after my first spoonful.
Spot on!
So it wasn’t just me…I thought my palate was all out of whack because so many folks have waxed poetic about those renditions of Antico, and I just didn’t love the watermelon or peach.
The plum is fantastic…no salty finish at all. Looking forward to trying nectarine and fig later.
I may be a rarity but the horchata is another one of their misses for me. The crunch was not a crunch, at least in my batch… more of a soggy, dense chew. Fingers crossed for hazelnut and nectarine picked up today. Wondering if I made a mistake in still not trying the plum. It’s my #1 fave fruit but because I like the kind of plum that is sweet and juicy, everyone’s comments on it being tart and sweet were rather off-putting to me.
Outside of the Harry’s Berries strawberries flavors, my next favorite has been the plum. It’s totally worthwhile. I thought the peach and watermelon from a few months ago were salty and yogurt-y tart.
Plum is my all-time Antico favorite (so far).
Oh dear… both of you?! Looks like I made a huge mistake not adding that to my order yesterday.
Looks like I have an excuse (or rather, no choice) to go pick up the plum tonight in light of today’s banana cream pie release.
Banana Cream Pie (ice cream)…
I haven’t had the two salty finish flavors but I that Plum!
