Bennelong in the Sydney Opera House in Photos

Gorgeous space, architecture, and treat do dine inside the Opera House.

Food was good but not great. The star of the show is definitely the view and the dining room.

Seared Blue Mackerel appetizer was superb

Line caught calamari was awkwardly cooked so that it was a bit chewy despite being medium rare. The accompanying grilled pickles were so strong they distracted from everything else.

Roasted John Dory on the bone was outstanding. Perfectly cooked in a flavorful brown butter sauce.

Snapper with strawberry clams sounded better than it tasted.

3 courses for $130 AUD or about $90 USD. Jet lag prevented us from getting dessert. They had a cute pavlova in the shape of the opera house but not as appealing as bed.

Been several times to the Opera House, which has some of the best acoustics in the world.
Usually, we hit up Quay and didn’t know there was a restaurant of this caliber…great pics!

Make sure you hit up the oldest bar in the rocks, Fortune of War on George street and have a pint with some great fish n’ chips at Lord Nelson’s Pub in the Rocks as well…
Bondi has Sean’s Panaroma which is fantastic…

Cheers Mate!

Quay is tonight.

Loved the food the last time I was there.

Wine list at Quay is far more impressive than the one at Bennelong.
