Have you spotted any of notoriety in your many trips to Bestia?
I don’t care about it much but I eat sitting next to celebrities on almost every trip there honestly… It must be one of the most celebrity-frequented restaurants in LA.

And if someone has a serious health issue they shouldn’t eat at this restaurant? Why, pray-tell, do you say that? Are people with health issues not allowed to partake of this great food you so highly praise?

@Aesthete omg, I don’t have a problem parking on the street and walking. I was replying to the article that @Mattapoisett_in_LA posted about parking spot rationing to solve our reliance on cars
And I do use valet when in Beverly Hills or West Hollywood or wherever. It just annoys me to spend $200 on a meal and get nickel and dimed for a stupid parking spot.

In another “most pointless post ever”, been gone for almost a month, and still find myself at Bestia whenever I’m back in town. Maybe their flexible schedule helps. The cocktail love of my life, the low profile, has finally been axed tragically… but there are some new cocktails that make up for it such as the santa fe fizz with both tequila and mezcal that I requested on a big rock because I’m a faggot:
And then ordered the last lamb neck, because I’ve never managed to get it before. Lovely salad of lightly dressed astringent greens with fatty, savory lamb cooked pretty much spot on. Simple, but effective:
The passionfruit sour I let come out served up. Nice and frothy for a vodka drink, with significant notes of fennel throughout. Exceptional when paired with the lamb.
Didn’t go too bad with that uni garlic calabrian chile blasted spaghetti that is famous either:
The Gambler, aka alcoholic blackberry milkshake is also very soul-soothing:
And you order a fig crostata because the mascarpone ice cream and balsamic is just so ace, what a night:

I forgot, I stopped in for a Low Profile and Agnolotti right before it was off the menu a few days back. Agnolotti is really tasty and pleasant, but has to be the worst deal out of all the pastas by far, only 13 pieces for $20…jeez

I’ve admittedly never actually JUST got takeout…but I’ve taken food to go very often. I am fairly certain they would make you pizza to go, like 99% sure.

(As in, yes, they do take-out on pizza. And not necessarily, “yes, someone does know if Bestia does takeaway orders.”)
