Brunch at Angeline in French Quarter

We had reservations for Saturday brunch here and they were going to seat us in the small dining room you first enter. It felt stark so I asked to be seated in the larger dining room past the bar. They obliged. We got a Ramos Fizz there and the bartender had a tattoo of the drink on her arm! She made a good one!
The food there was outstanding comfort food!
We started with fried chicken and buttermilk biscuit as an appetizer. It was hard not to finish it off completely but we still had more food coming so needed to save room.

My husband had the eggs in hell and our friend had brioche french toast.

I got the crispy boudin with grits. No one could keep their forks out of my grits, they were so creamy!

The food was so fantastic we went ahead and ordered dessert, and I am glad we did. Their sweet potato pie had a marshmallow topping that had been bruleed.

Loving Angeline!
