Brusters ice cream

any good? Now open on LaBrea close to San Vicente.

That’s my local choice for ice cream when the fam wants ice cream with old school Americana charm. It’s in the same vein as Handel’s (locations in Torrance & Upland). I believe they make it on site, and the flavors are plentiful.
Some of our household recs:
Banana cream pie
Strawberry cheesecake
Buckeye
Graham Central Station
All the sherbet flavors

Thank you so much. Going to get every cherry flavor they have. also, they have peach ice cream. I believe someone was looking for that.

Been to the one in Torrance. Solid ice cream, if pretty heavy on the fat and sugar. But tastes old school and delicious.

+1 on @attran99 list + key lime pie, pumpkin, seasonal/featured flavors and no sugar added, fat free coffee. Specialty Frozen Treats | Brusters
For a bang, bang, if you’re out in SELA, popular Cho Dang Tofu is across the street (even with hot temps, always a popular place). Kape Republik is at the same shopping center next to Seafood City facing Norwalk Blvd., get anything w/ube—crinkles, madeleines, muffins, cheesecakes…then eat all your goodies with Bruster’s Real Ice Cream (on the Artesia Blvd. side). If you like hot pandesal, stop by Valerio’s Bakery to the right of KP and put your Bruster’s ice cream of choice inside the pandesal—Filipino ice cream sandwich. Enjoy…

Oh yay! We’ve been wondering about it. It’s in walking distance. A nice treat after a brisk walk! :icecream::two_hearts:

I didn’t end up getting anything. They didn’t have my favorite flavors.
