Camino - Joyce Goldstein Dinner

May 26 - Ticketed event. I’ve been to several of the Camino cookbook related events and they have all been great.

The dinner was lovely.
Reception hour consisted of a sparkling wine cocktail and rose, with passed small bites (ling cod bites, some sort of potato pancake, and a dark rye with cheese).

The seated dinner was:
Persian Spinach and herb omelet, Mushroom salad, Bulgur and mint salad, and Syrian Lentil Soup (a small portion of each on the plate, plus the soup). All delicious

Main course was served family style (for each 4 people) - Wood oven-baked whole local rockfish with onion Tahina sauce, favas with cilantro, and Grilled little gems and herb salad. The fish was phenomenal.

Rice and Milk Pudding with wood oven roasted cherries and sesame candy to end.

An Italian and a Spanish white accompanied the meal.

It was a pleasure listening to Joyce speak. She’s a living history lesson, and still at the top of her teaching game.
