I found out over the weekend that a lot of industry people in other cities do this. They were like, “Hey did you read Austin Eater?” I’ve also heard Chicago Eater, San Francisco Eater, etc. sigh oh well
I think its because the subdomain in front of the domain is: [city].eater.com. I was in a hurry to post so I just cut and pasted and got rid of “.com”
Eater.com/la might be easier to get recognition as Eater LA. Then again, maybe not

Friday late lunch: chicken breast, mashed, veggies, carrot cake, & tea = $18+. Still a work in progress. Their kinks have kinks so lower your expectations for a while. You have to carry your tray from station to station with a bit of organizational chaos in between. Checkout is the same chute system and seating is the same but different. High staff levels for now. Best for the brave or curious while they figure it out.
