Daytrip - Temescal

daytrip reminds me of HLAY and P.Y.T. (before it closed) in LA.

Funnily enough, Al’s Place is the only “destination” SF restaurant that I’ve been to since moving here (not counting a quick stop at B Patisserie the morning before a conference). Now that you mention it, I do see a bit of resemblance in their styles…

Glad I got there before it closed.

But the category I’m thinking of is a bit broader than that; HLAY is indeed a pretty central example to me (@burritoking).

Here’s Looking at You does some fermentation but it seems a lot more hit and miss.
