Sadness. Their souffle cheesecake was superb. And their version of the Cronut was better than Dominique Ansel’s.
Oh, that’s so sad to hear! I loved their peanut cookies and the decor. Hadn’t been in > 10 yrs, though, probably. Such a genteel place to enjoy pastries. Do you know what happened?

What a disappointment, like OP said their cronuts were far superior to DA. I remember trying DA’s cronuts after trying Frances’ version, only to be underwhelmed.
