Looking for hire-zake. Fugu fins steeped in warm sake. If done right you both get drunk and make your face tingle (not willing to supplement with blow - blowfish only).
Can usually find it in places for old timers. South Bay maybe?
You may find non-Fugu fins, but I doubt you’ll find real Fugu fins unless they’re smuggled in. I was told by several vendors around Tsukiji two years ago that the importation of Fugu fins to the US is banned.
