HKC Dim Sum in Koreatown

I found HKC dim sum online. HKC serves dim sum and other Chinese dishes typical of dim sum restaurants daily till they close. HKC also serve alcohol. I haven’t been but curious if anyone else has. It appears that HKC opened in March this year inside City Center on 6th street. I am confused by photos from the web. Those posted by the owner showed bamboo steamers, while user posted photos showed metal steamers. Also interesting is that non dim sum dishes are served in aluminum trays rather than plates.

We went right after they opened, haven’t been back. Not sure if it has improved. They took over the upstairs space which has a nice outdoor seating area.

Are they back in business? I saw the LA Times blurb about the opening and I kept calling them about their hours and nobody picked up. Then I sent them a message and received a reply they were out of business.

Last Yelp review was 3 months ago.

And their hours are weird:

Yes that’s what I asked them about that led to the reply they’ve closed.
