Years ago after a long search I was able to find abomasum tripe at a Korean market. I can’t remember where and I have not been able to find it. Anyone know of a store selling it? I have a huge craving for lampredotto sandwiches.
All the grocery stores and Korean butchers seem to sell it marinated. I know Shin Sun Meat Market in Koreatown will sell it unmarinated if you order ahead, and once it comes in, they can give you a call for pickup. I imagine other Korean butchers might do the same if there is one closer to you.

I just left Shinsun meat. Cindy, behind the counter asked if I had a Korean woman call yesterday inquiring about abomasum. She’s getting me an order of it! Thank you for the lead!
