they should save one bar seat for garden lettuces, buffalo milk curds and daiquiris
There’s a reason its called the hospitality industry.
Right. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever why Leopardo can’t have a replacement-level communications / social media presence. It is inexplicable how they can’t get even basic stuff right. The pizza is good but the place just seems so poorly managed, and for no apparent reason.
man i should have put money on this. hate to see any place go in a city with a rapidly shrinking dining scene, but the vibes were off here from day 1.
Maybe there’s no manager?
It’s difficult to stay staffed up right now, even places like Somni are having trouble
“Preparing for renovations” I’m told.
As in “we’re just close friends” or “hospitalized due to exhaustion”?
I believe they will reopen with pizza and a limited menu and then a new larger menu, but the real reason for closure is to overhaul the seating/decor.
Was this change an attempt to boost sales/profitability, or was this always the plan?
Ha ha ha. The evolution of the place has been pretty chaotic.
I heard they’re getting a metal slug machine
Lol that would be awesome
I hear they have “concepts of a plan”
after seeing metal slug machine word it reminds me old days
It is sad that it’s impossible to have a restaurants that have child care area in USA without getting sue lol
It was so fun for me as a child when I used to play at playground room in pizza hut in my country lol
believe me or not, but he wasn’t part of the closures
Unfortunately, most restaurants are not very transparent on closures. It’s usually cause the ownership just doesn’t want to spend anymore money and the most expensive part of owning a restaurant is the labor. More often than not we see restaurants suddenly close than have farewell tours nowadays. Restaurants are undercapitalized in general. That’s why these stories feel similar but it’s more a symptom of restaurant ownership
