Had lunch here with my dad a while back because of the LATimes article on Laotian restaurants. It was a little hard to find in the strip mall, which wound about a bit.
The waiter was very friendly and eager to help with the menu. They only sell wine by the bottle, but they let us take home the bottle. I think there was only one other table seated the whole time we were there, but a few people came by for takeout.
The Lao Sausage was amazing, very fragrant, smelling of lemongrass and herbs.
I got the beef larb, which had tripe. I got medium spicy, but next time might get it spicier. Very good!
This raw shrimp dish was fantastic, with a heat that builds!
We also got a special, morning glory with pork. No picture, sadly. It was great.
The food was so outstanding, I think it may be our next lunch date!
