A fairly sophisticated and very busy street food operation has opened up evenings on the southeast corner of Santa Monica Bl. and Madison St. in East Hollywood. Very short menu of tacos, quesadillas, burritos and mulitas. Driven by a few times the past several weeks and was surprised by both the size of the crowds and the fact that they’re still in business (this isn’t New York when it comes to street corner food), particularly since they can’t sprint away with their professional kitchen equipment if the police come by. Would appreciate any reports from neighboring Silver Lakers.
I think this may have moved to a parking lot on Virgil, a couple blocks south of Santa Monica.
