I was major champion for Wes in the early days. I genuinely felt he was at the vanguard of a burgeoning American/Internationally-inflected style of cooking with solid Mexican roots, but each venture since Guerilla Tacos hasn’t quite resonated with me. Still very much like the guy and wish him nothing but success.
Those early GT days were something special though…
