Now Serving is AWESOME. Do people know about their events? Because they’re super cool, frequently free and I’m surprised that searching this forum doesn’t yield a result (much less its own thread)

The owners are so great there. Whenever I’ve asked about particular books they have in stock they let me page through them- even crazy expensive ones like a rare imported cookbook or the Modernist Bread book!
Darn! They had an appearance by Ivan Orkin & Chris Ying (Gaijin Cookbook) on 9/29. She didn’t mention it when I bought the book. I could have geeked out and had my book signed.
