Yes the pizza is Tokyo style, but the chef is Korean. Guest chef Bun-san was not there that day. I will try some more pizza in Tokyo soon and will maybe visit Bun-san there if he’s around. I had Savoy a couple of months ago and loved it. (In Tokyo.)

resy said it was invite only but i’m on the resy notify / waitlist. i’m going if there’s an opening. (and if i go, i’d also go to leonardo beforehand)

@PorkyBelly @moonboy403 led William astray. There was way too much food and he didn’t need to add an additional wagyu calzone.

Every single person in the restaurant was struggling by the 8yh pizza.

He can easily cut it from 9 pizzas + dessert za

To 7 + dessert.

Yes. it was a lot of food. And due to pacing (dinner was around 3.5 hrs) the carbs really settled in.

for the first omakasei we got about the equivalent of one sei pie, eight slices with each slice being about 1/8th of a pie. i don’t think it was that much food. were the slices bigger last night?

Yeah I would have to disagree with @Clayfu I think 8 is sufficient, but for bigger eaters and myself if I had only had the pizzeria sei omakase (10 slices + dessert) I wouldve been good. The fact that we did an almost entire meal prior at leopardo pushed it over the top for me.

can’t just look at the big eaters as a basis to serve too much.

every other person at the dinner was falling over stuffed and they didn’t eat beforehand.

Here’s our menu, looks like an addition of the calzone and subtraction of salad. My highlights were the special, the carbrino tomato, Hailey, Pizza Hut and patate caviar (I got a bonus slice!)

I actually told William that whatever he served last time was enough food in the grand scheme of things but he wanted to spice up the menu with a showpiece finale. He’s always tinkering with the menu trying to improve things.
