Will be spending a couple nights in San Antonio at the end of December. First trip.
Any recs on good places to eat and drink? Already have Hot Joy and Cured pegged as places to check out. I live in LA, and spend a lot of time in NY and SF for work, so looking either for restaurants that could hold their own in those cities, or regional specialties that exist only in San Antonio. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of Tex-Mex, but maybe something in SA could change my mind? Also not particularly interested in barbecue this trip, as I’m also spending a fair amount of time in Austin these days, and I suspect Austin does it better.
How about bars? Where can I get a great cocktail, or some local craft beer?
And how’s the farmers’ market at the Pearl?
