I’ll be in San Diego this week with my family (including two young kids) and my parents. Would love any recommendations, especially the following:
- Best options for dim sum or other Chinese that are open on Christmas.
- Best casual Mexican that offers a wider range of dishes (not just taqueria)
- Best Middle-Eastern takeout, especially if they offer good mezze or things that are less typical (e.g. not just basic falafel/sandwiches). Also open to other Middle-Eastern-adjacent cuisines (e.g. Afghan, Persian, Turkish, Greek)
I already got some great taco and seafood ideas from other visits of my own, so mostly all set on this front.
We will be staying up in La Jolla area (just south of UCSD), but will be interested in visiting different neighborhoods.
