We’ve had their Birthday Cake at Chantilly before (I don’t think it’s officially called a Birthday cake), and it was fantastic! Really delicious cakes there. 
And as @J_L says, their Cream Puffs. Black Sesame is so good.

I bought a really lovely Mont Blanc for my mother-in-law’s birthday a few years ago. If you’re picking up a treat for yourself, I’d recommend their black sesame panna cotta, as well as their cream puffs.
If you’re near Culver City, I like the Passion cake from Jin Patisserie as well. It has passion fruit, mango, and mascarpone - a lovely combination. It was a big hit at a family birthday party.
