Don’t know Silver Lake very well at all. I think I’ve walked by that strip mall b/f. Given that it might be vaguely tucked away, perhaps a chance that it does under the radar?
We’ll see if anyone more familiar w/ the area chimes in…

Not a lot of foot traffic but there will be plenty of car traffic . You are off the freeway. Lots of cars trying to get to Sunset Blvd or the Reservoir. The parking lot to that strip mall is pretty decent. It will automatically be one of the best options for tacos in that area. Yes a bang bang with Hot Tongue would be natural

it’s the getting in and out of that parking lot that is the challenge with traffic coming from 3 directions.

One of the worst intersections on the east side, and has only gotten worse since covid. kinda shudder to think what happens if it gets super popular.
