Warrior: my favorite kind is the one that is grilled with soy sauce (yaki onigiri). I really liked the yaki onigiri we had delivered from Izakaya Bizan in Little Tokyo, but Peony found the grilled crust too chewy. (I also like their tako wasabi, by the way.) In addition, we have ordered pickup and delivery from Rice+Nori—an onigiri specialist in Little Tokyo—several times. Good enough to continue ordering for picnics, etc. I like their mentaiko+avocado best. I am not fussy when it comes to onigiri. Just no mayo please.
