Instead of making the trek out to a place, just to find that it’s closed on a certain holiday, searching this thread first may serve as a resource for all L.A. board users.
Please include the holiday in question, restaurant (of course), and if they are open or closed.
For example, I will start:
4th of July:
Lamonica’s NY Pizza (Westwood Village): CLOSED
Northern Cafe (Westwood Village, next door to Lamonica’s): OPEN
For lovers of Bludso’s Bar & Que (La Brea), they are open on July 4th for take-out only 11:30-3pm. Too late for today, maybe Labor Day.
We’re eating Juicy Lucy’s at Chez Cookie.
4th of July 2018
Basically all of the restaurants in Monterey Park in Garfield and Garvey, and every single restaurant at Arcadia Mall for lunch.
Also update: new Meet Fresh location is opening at Arcadia Mall. Also, Qin West will be opening as well, not sure how that will go down with what exists in that area. We shall see.
4th of July:
Father’s Office (all locations): CLOSED
Apple Pan (West L.A.): OPEN
