people do seem to be consistently satisfied with them on the instagram ā€¦ has been on the list for a revisit sooner or laterā€¦ they also semi-regularly have new taco specials popping up

Iā€™ve tried Simon a few times post write up and never connect with it as some of the reviewers do. Everything is solid, but it doesnā€™t pop for me the way Holbox or like Erizo in Tijuana.

Once more unto the breach I guess.

Dos Chingones on Olympic o El Chingon on Soto?

I havenā€™t been to El Chingonā€¦ but Dos Chingones isnā€™t just a gimmick. I love their costilla plate as much as I love their Chilaquiles.

I believe the brothers split, so the OG location is now Los Chingones and the Soto location is El Chingon.

For my taste, Los Chingones chilaquiles burrito is king but the chicharron taco at El Chingon was mighty tasty.
