I’ve recently published an article in The Oregonian on where to find Taiwanese food in the Portland area. The Taiwanese community here is growing, but is not nearly as diverse as you’d find in larger metro areas like Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and the diversity and quality of the cooking here reflects that. However, we do have a couple of notable vendors that are serving an unmet need for those of us from Taiwan (and those of us who miss the food from Taiwan).
