How do you season your steak?

Follow up to my earlier post:

A quick short cut is to nuke some butter in a little bowl, then stir in soy sauce to taste.

I used to have the Momofuku cookbook and made this marinade fairly often. You don’t need all the sides and accompaniments if you don’t feel like making them. The marinated steak is good in its own.

I’m usually a S&P kinda buy, but that “other” thread has me intrigued. How is this steak sauce?

Good for cheap steak, slightly better than A1. They stock it at Gelsons.

Rather use tonkatsu sauce over both. :joy:

italian salsa verde. goes great with steak.
