did he pass away or just stop posting?
He was one of the guys here and on the previous board who seemed to share a lot of my same tastes, liked the little random styrofoam takeout box places with authentic food from the corner of the Earth. His recs guided me a lot when I first started exploring the food LA had to offer.

Or even @ipsedixit. Miss the random short snarky (funny!) remarks, and also the kindness to newbies, and standing up to bullies for us. A pretty great mod.
I think the last time he disappeared turned out he was on a trip
