T’is BLT time, Post your favs

I’ve seen it all over., but I usually go for the slab myself since I like to slice/cut it myself.

I believe I’ve seen it at Vicente Foods and Bristol Farms. Usually they have a few different types (applewood; cherrywood).

I just ate a terrible BLT at LAX and now I need a redemption arc. Some good options in here that I may try. Any new contenders since this thread was last updated 5+ years ago?

The problem is as was likely the problem with your one at LAX is tomatoes are out of season. You won’t get a good one until summer.

I really liked the BLT sandwich from Breadhead. Their focaccia bread has a nice slightly crispy texture on the outside, but then is very pliable inside, and they proportion the lettuce, bacon (Nueske) and tomato really well for a great texture combo.

They just shut down their pop up in SM in anticipation of opening their brick n mortar (also in SM I believe), but they should be up and running soon.
